Troop Calendar 2010

(Troop meets every Monday.  Meetings will be cancelled whenever schools are closed due to inclement weather.  Meetings will be held on Monday holidays unless they are specifically cancelled by the Troop Committee.)

• March 8 - Troop Meeting cancelled due to meeting place conflict - Boards of Review will be conducted at Dr. Golden's office.  All requirements for rank advancements for the March Board of Review must be completed and signed off both in the handbook and entered in the Patrol Advancement Book by this meeting.
• March 13 - District Recognition and Awards Banquet
• March 15 - Troop Meeting / Boards of Review.  All Chili tickets and money must be turned in.  Adults will hear a presentation about the Friends of Scouting campaign.
• March 20 - Troop Chili fundraiser 11 am to 1 pm at Clarksville Academy
• March 22 - No Troop Meeting (CMCSS Spring Break)
• March 27 - Five and Dime Hike at Montgomery Bell State Park.  Scouts needing to complete the 2nd Class requirements 1a and 1b will hike 5 miles.  Scouts who are 2nd Class and above will complete 10 miles for the Hiking Merit Badge.
• March 29 - Troop Meeting - Early Bird payments for Boxwell summer camp due
   
• April 5 - Troop Meeting
• April 9-11 - Troop 521 at Spring Camporee
• April 12 - Troop Meeting.  All requirements for rank advancements for the April Board of Review must be completed and signed off both in the handbook and entered in the Patrol Advancement Book by this meeting.
• April 17 - Projected Eagle project workday pending approval
• April 19 - Troop Meeting / Boards of Review
• April 24 - Projected Eagle project workday pending approval
• April 26 - Troop Meeting.  Merit badge choices for summer camp must be completed and approved by the Scoutmaster by this meeting
   
• May 1-2 - Middle Tennessee Council National Jamboree Contingent training camp
• May 3 - Troop Meeting
• May 10 - Troop Meeting.   All requirements for rank advancements for the May Board of Review must be completed and signed off both in the handbook and entered in the Patrol Advancement Book by this meeting.
• May 17 - Troop Meeting / Boards of Review
• May 24 - Troop Meeting
• May 31 - Troop Meeting
• May 22-23 - Backpacking trip to Fiery Gizzard
   
• June 7 - Troop Meeting
• June 14 - Troop Meeting
• June 21 - Court of Honor
• June 28 - Troop Meeting
   
•  July 5 – Troop Meeting – Final shakedown for Boxwell summer camp
• July 11-17 - Troop 521 at Boxwell Reservation for summer camp (subject to confirmation)
• July 18-24 - NYLT Course at Boxwell Reservation
• July 22 - Middle Tennessee Contingent to the National Scouting Jamboree departs

All completed merit badge applications must be submitted to the Advancement Chair at least one week before a Court of Honor in order to be awarded and recognized at the Court.  All rank requirements must be completed, approved, and signed off in the Scout's handbook and the Patrol Advancement Book at least 1 week before a Scout can appear before a Board of Review.
