In October, the Troop went camping at Montgomery Bell State Park.  Although it was dry when we arrived, it started raining on Friday night and kept raining all day Saturday.

It was the first time we'd tried using the new dining canopy that we built.  It worked really well and had plenty of room for the kitchen and the Scouts.

Even with the rain coming down, the senior Scouts completed a 10-mile hike for the Hiking merit badge and the Lightning Patrol did a 1-mile compass navigation hike for First Class.

It finally stopped raining about the time we began packing up our gear on Sunday morning.
