Grimes Canoe Base Race - October 2008

Troop 521 journeyed back to Grimes Canoe Base on the first weekend in October to compete in the 4th annual Grimes Canoe Base Race.  We've gone every year since the race began and have taken at least one award each time.  This year was no exception.  Two of our senior Scouts took 2nd Place in the Senior Division.  Well done everyone. 
We were up bright an early on Saturday to get ready for the race.  You can tell from the way that everyone is dressed that it wasn't too warm.  After our traditional canoeing Mountain Man Breakfast, we were ready to go.  This is what happens when you let the Scoutmaster get his hands on the camera.  Some might call it art...
