On March 15, 2004, Troop 521 gathered to recognize Benjamin Bills who had earned the highest rank in Boy Scouting, Eagle Scout.
Although Benjamin had actually become the Troop's 3rd Eagle Scout a few months earlier, this night was set aside to honor him and his accomplishments in Scouting.  The Eagle Oath was administered by another Troop 521 Eagle Scout, Phil Freed-Golden.  The Scoutmaster, of course, had to have a few words recalling some of Benjamin's more interesting moments as a Scout.
But the evening is about the Eagle Scout and his friends and family.  After the ceremony ended, there was plenty of time for congratulations, cake, and posing for photos.
Eventually it was time to clean up and go home.

The Troop's 1st and 2nd Eagle Scouts (Ben Karns and Phil Freed-Golden) assist with putting away the chairs.

Congratulations, Benjamin Bills
Troop 521 Eagle Scout #3!
