| On March 15, 2004,
Troop 521 gathered to recognize Benjamin Bills who had earned the
highest rank in Boy Scouting, Eagle Scout. |
 |
 |
 |
| Although Benjamin
had actually become the Troop's 3rd Eagle Scout a few months earlier, this night was
set aside to honor him and his accomplishments in Scouting.
The Eagle Oath was administered by another Troop 521 Eagle Scout,
Phil Freed-Golden. The Scoutmaster, of course, had to have a
few words recalling some of Benjamin's more interesting moments as a
Scout. |
 |
But the evening is about the
Eagle Scout and his friends and family. After the ceremony
ended, there was plenty of time for congratulations, cake, and
posing for photos. |

Eventually it was time to
clean up and go home. The Troop's 1st
and 2nd Eagle Scouts (Ben Karns and Phil Freed-Golden) assist with
putting away the chairs. |

Congratulations, Benjamin Bills
Troop 521 Eagle Scout #3! |
