a Scout's career to achieve the rank of Eagle
Scout. When you are your troop's first Eagle
Scout, the feeling is unlike any other. |

Ben
received the rank of Eagle Scout at an Eagle Court
of Honor on October 19, 2000. The Court was
well attended and everyone was especially proud to
wear their uniforms that evening. |

There
were lots of speeches and presentations. |
 |
Mom
got to pin the Eagle medal on and the Eagle Oath
was administered by a close friend and fellow
student. |
 |
| After
the ceremony there was cake to eat and, of course,
time to talk and plan who was going to be next. |
